It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Yarborough Owen of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on December 31, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoy Yarborough, and Mabel Yarborough, Sr.; her former husband Joseph C. Mabe; her husband W. Ray Owen, Jr.; and her brother Hoy Yarborough, Jr. (Sonny).
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Jo Mabe Ratliff (David); her grandchildren, Hannah Longest (Dylan) and Ben Ratliff (McKenzie); her great grandchildren, Grey Longest, Wren Longest, Nolan Ratliff and Jett Longest; and her stepchildren, Jolyn Mabe, Cheryl Brown, Jana Owen and Buddy Owen. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
