She is survived by: her brother Roy Cagle of Asheboro; her children, Joyce Elmore Soult (Wayne) of Saint Matthews, SC, Sharon Thompson Dorsett (Jeff) of Sophia, Jeffrey Thompson (Amanda) of Randleman, NC, Joseph Thompson (Candy) of Ramseur, NC, Mark Thompson of Sophia, NC, Barry Watts of Lake Mary, Karen Fields (Jeff) of Vero Beach, FL and Mike Watts of Archdale; her grandchildren, Jennifer Thompson, Steven Stoneman, Crystal Carmany, Timmy Stoneman, Lori Thompson, Jamie Hardin, Alicia Thompson, Joshua Thompson, Niki Hoover, Jaeger Thompson, Jacob Thompson, Jonah Thompson, Job Thompson, Christi Shadrick, Matthew Watts, Stephanie Fields, Tiffany Smith, Dustin Fields and Jeannie Watts; and her caregiver Teisha Crisco. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren.
