He is survived by: his daughters, Miranda Lortie of Florida, Heather Lortie of Lexington and Adrienne Lortie of Thomasville; and his sisters, Rita Meredith (Doug) of High Point, Jayne Wright (Randy) of Hamptonville and Michele Valle (Peter) of Idaho. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
