She was predeceased by: her parents, William W. Saferight and Treva Mae Johnson Saferight; her spouse Claude Randall Clodfelter; her son Doug Clodfelter; and her daughter-in-law Pat Clodfelter.
She is survived by: her son Mark Clodfelter (Amy) of High Point; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Diaz (Fermin) and Kelly Clodfelter; her great grandchildren, Jocelyn Diaz, Matthew Diaz and Jennyfer Diaz-Romero; her sister-in-law Myrtle Clodfelter; and her niece Susan Black.
