He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard T. Seymour and Madeleine Bagwell Seymour. He is survived by: his children, Wendy Hicks (Bob) of Greensboro, Leah Seymour of Colfax, Michael Mecum of Winston-Salem, Christopher Seymour of High Point and Travis Seymour; and his siblings, Linda Hindman (Roy) of Hendersonville and Stuart Seymour (Teresa) of Elberton, Georgia. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
