He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Jina Bingham Stanley; and his sister Sandi Fulton. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia E. Stanley; his children, Teresa Stanley Mackey of High Point, Jennifer Lynn Atkinson (Leon) and Robert Shaun Stanley of Durango, Colorado; his siblings, Kathi Johnston and Steve Stanley (Jan); his grandchildren, Christopher Shaun Bluethenthal, Kate Bluethenthal, Sara Mackey Pendry (Spencer), David Aaron Mackey, Louis Benjamin Mackey and Jordan Lee Stanley; and his great grandchildren, Peyton, Nesta, Peter, John, Michael and Lilly.
