He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Aurelius Massey, Sr. and Fannie Mae Hopkins Massey; and his brothers, Ernest Massey, Jr. and Jerry Wayne Massey. He is survived by: his sisters, Brenda Massey of High Point, Elizabeth Griffin of Thomasville and Mary Cooper of High Point. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
