He was predeceased by: his parents, John Evertt Wagner and Myrtle Simpson Wagner; his brother Roland Wagner; and his stepchildren, Vivian Morrison and Christopher Hooven.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Felts Wagner; his children, Keith Wagner of Greensboro, Brett Wagner of Archdale, Terry Wagner (Vickie) of Colfax, Charles Hooven of Trinity, Dee Gibbs (Don) of High Point and Beverly Pekkala (John) of Trinity; his brothers, Wayne Wagner (Joyce) of High Point and Herschell Wagner (Sandy) of Greensboro; and his son-in-law Mike Morrison of Clemmons. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
