It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca Elliott Luquer of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Carl and Nannie Pendry Elliott; her husband Harold Wayne Luquer, Sr.; and her siblings, Carlton Elliott, Charles Elliott, George Elliott, Raymond Elliott, Maxine Honeycutt, Betsy Reid, Ruth Crabtree, Helen Rae Long, Mary Alice Griffin and Nancy Manning.
She is survived by: her sister Nell Marie Mills; her children, Harold Wayne Luquer, Jr., Raymond Lloyd Luquer (Rose Goins Luquer) and Janice Luquer Clewis (Tommie Clewis); and her grandsons, Eric Luquer (Nikki), Anthony Luquer (Dawn), Christopher Luquer, Dr. Jason Clewis (Jessica) and Brandon Clewis (Grace). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grand-daughter.
