He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Gibson and Lois Gibson of Chattanooga, TN; and his brother Leroy Gibson, Jr. of Hixon, TN.. He is survived by: his wife Betty Gibson of High Point; his children, Angela Gibson Walter (Jerry) of Hillsborough, NC and Matthew Gibson of Nashville, TN; his brother Charles Gibson (Dannie) of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; and his sister-in-law Judy Gibson of Hixson, TN..
