He is survived by: his children, Lisa Sexton (Robert) of High Point, Laurie Evarts of Sebastian, Florida and Eric Sherrill (Christina) of High Point; his siblings, Jim, Tony Sherrill and Barbara Sifford; his grandchildren, Robert Sexton III (Cindy), Samantha Crooks (Quentin), Nichole Sexton (Sam Ulrich), Emma Sexton (Ryan O'Donnell), Sarah Jones (Justin), Zachary Sexton, Elijah Sexton, Jessica Evarts, Ricky Evarts, Bethany Evarts, Sloane Sherrill and Blake Sherrill; and his great grandchildren, Carmen, Seraphim, Reagan and Easton.
