As Robert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Robert. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by : his mother Josephine Holeman Bass; and his brother James Alexander Bass, Jr.. He is survived by : his father James Alexander Bass; his friend Parkinsons; his wife Jane Lee Chandler (Janie); his children, Robert Edwin Bass, Jr. (Martha McAllister Bass) and Lee Chandler (Harold Stuart Nunn, Jr.); and his grandchildren, Jane Chandler Nunn and Harold Stuart Nunn III.
