He is survived by: his niece Sherri Teal Soles; his daughter Dana Teal Jones; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Teal of Trinity and Janice Teal Smith of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and two grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
