He is survived by: his wife Lois Smith Markham; his children, David Markham (Nannette), Andrew Markham and Virginia Janssen (Jim Smith); his grandchildren, Kat Janssen, Drew Markham and James Markham; and his sister Edith Markham.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Wesley Memorial Methodist Church (1225 Chestnut Dr, High Point, NC 27262).
