He is survived by: his wife Donna Annette Wheaton; his sons, Scott Tate (Clonee) of Rock Hill, SC, Shad Tate (Bernetta) of High Point, NC and Sheldon Tate of Rock Hill, SC.; his grandchildren, Erica Dunbar, Chayanne Tate, Shanice Tate, Gabriella Tate, Marchello Tate and Isabella Lopez (Jonathan); and his great grandchild Alejandro Lopez. He is also survived by 11 siblings.
