Ronald leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Ronald’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Ronald will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his father William "Bill" Wright. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Swanner Wilson; his wife Carol McNeill Wright; his children, Edward Wright of High Point, Emily Ann Wright of Brooklyn, NY and Katie Mac Wright of Raleigh; and his siblings, Anna Wright Troutman of High Point, Don Wright (Shelley) of Lookout Mountain, TN and Greg Wright of High Point. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (918 N Main St, High Point, NC 27262). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In Hong Kong, he became involved with the Pot Belly Pigs, a charity rugby organization, combining his enthusiasm for the game with opportunities to give back.
