It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronnie Elliott Thompson of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Thompson and Mattie Murdock Thompson; and his siblings, Harold Thompson of Bill Thompson, R. D, Roland Thompson, Kermit Thompson and Emily Thompson Ayscue.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Thompson; his children, Jerry Slack of High Point, Randall Thompson of High Point and Cheryl Chapman of High Point; and his sister Betty McCandless of Madison. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity Baptist Church and/or Hospice of the Piedmont.
