She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Saunders and Virginia Arcelia Williams Palmer; and her siblings, Albert Dean Saunders, John Saunders, Warren Stanley Saunders and Patricia Williams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Akia Williams-Bethea (Jeffrey), Arcelia Williams and Alisha Williams; her grandchildren, PJ, Kiwan, Anthony, Antoine, Antoinette, Jaquan and Javar; her nieces and nephews, Cherie Williams, Nashawn Glascoe, Corrine Kitt, Curtis Williams and Dominique Saunders; and her godchildren, Renee Holman-Mack and Tyrell Armstead. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
Viewing was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service (304 Lusardi Dr, Brookneal, VA 24528). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at the Presbyterian Cemetery (2020 Grace St, Lynchburg, VA 24504).
