It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rufus Franklin Laws Jr. of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Franklin Laws, Sr. and Mary Thelma Hardie; his wife Frances "Fran" Chisholm Laws; and his siblings, Pearl L. Walker, Jackie L. Howard, Bobby R. Laws and Terry R. Laws.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly L. Gallimore; and his son-in-law Eddie Gallimore of Thomasville. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM at the Fairfield Community Church (1505 NC-62, High Point, NC 27263). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
