She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd W. Kitchen and Doshia Vick Kirkman; her husband Gary York Kirkman; and her daughter Teresa Denise Spivey. She is survived by: her son Timothy Kirkman. She is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1600 N. Centennial Street, High Point, North Carolina.
