He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Frank and Hattie James Johnson; and his siblings, Richard, Wallace, Willis, James, John and Betty Ruth Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Adell Thompson Johnson; his children, Angela of Greensboro, N. C, Derrick (Shaunki) of Thomasville and Christy (Warwick) of Thomasville; his grandchildren, JaQuari, Adrianna, Camryn, Carsyn and Xavier; his brothers, Elijah (Rena) of Thomasville, Robert (Rosa) of Thomasville, Harold (Sally) of Thomasville and George Mitchell of Marlton, NJ.; and his siblings-in-law, Morris Thompson (Louise) of High Point, N. C., Loretta (Ernest) of Brooklyn, N. Y, Rose Bogier (Eddie) of Spartanburg, S. C., Marilyn Thompson of Seat Pleasant, M. D, Margaret Johnson of Brooksville, FL, Fannie Johnson of Rimini, S. C. and Annie Mae Johnson of Pinewood, S. C.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
