She is survived by: her siblings, Teresa Gill (Hillsboro), Mark Gill (Chapel Hill), Eddie Gill (Chapel Hill) and Joe Gill; her children, Ashley Thompson (Chapel Hill), Michael Cain of Portland, ME and Kristin Cain (High Point); her children-in-law, Freiler Thompson (Chapel Hill) and Meredith Perdue of Portland, ME; her sister-in-law Pam Sutton (Jim Sutton) of Sunset Beach; her nieces, Victoria Bissette (Jay Bissette) of Mebane and Savanna Sutton of Belmont; her sister-in-law Shellie Gill of Kansas City, MO; her children, Maddie Gill and Stephen Gill; her grandchildren, Addison Cain and Asa Thompson; her great-nephew Jack; and her great-niece Audrey Bissette. She is also survived by her husband and her three children.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Emerywood Baptist Church and UNC Children's Hospital.
