With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra MacIvor Hartwell of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on July 21, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sandra MacIvor may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sandra MacIvor touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wylie MacIvor and Evelyn MacIvor. She is survived by: her husband Michael Hartwell; and her children, David Hartwell (Allison), Alison S. Brigham (Jay) and Elizabeth H. Saliba. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
