She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Curd and Eula Rosenbaum Curd; her spouse Coy J. Thomas; her daughter Betsy Morgan; and her siblings, Mae Moorefield, Marie Wilmoth, Leonard Rosenbaum and Bill Curd.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Kay Barnes (Lee) of High Point and Vern Thomas (Lisa) of Thomasville; her sisters, Mary Owens, Linda Barlow of Glade Springs and Edna Cornett of Damascus, Virginia; her grandsons, Matthew Barnes (Madelyn), Adam Barnes, Jared Barnes (Maggie), Caleb Thomas (Heather), Josh Thomas (Emily) and Randy Jennings (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Kaley Barnes, Sophia Barnes and Maisie Thomas.
