It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Saundra Ann Veach of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Saundra Ann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Saundra Ann. Though Saundra Ann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Veach; her parents, Horace McKinney and Fay McKinney; and her pet Chaucer. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Eller (Tom) and Kathy Johnson (Lance); her sister Janice Draper (Charlie); and her pet Baxter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (918 N Main St, High Point, NC 27262). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to Oak City Cares (homeless services) in Raleigh, NC or to Happy Hooves (equine therapy) in Marietta, SC.
