He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Christopher Heinzelman and Bonny Knudsen Heinzelman (Edwin) of Hardy, VA; his children, Katie Heinzelman of High Point, Theresa Crockett of Winston-Salem, Rachel Smith (Adger) of Hamden, MA, James Heinzelman (Krystal) of Winston-Salem and Daniel Heinzelman of High Point; and his siblings, Diana Morrison of Sparta, NJ and Mark Heinzelman (Beth) of Hardy, VA. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren.
