He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Moss Sexton, Jr. and Frances Joanne McCarter Sexton; and his brother Curtis Sexton. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne Brady Sexton; his children, Bellamy Wesley Sexton (Rebecca Klebaner) of Pennsylvania, Maggie Elizabeth Sexton of Lexington and Jacob Alexander Sexton; and his sister Susan Holden of Raleigh.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service - High Point (1015 Eastchester Dr, High Point, NC 27262).
