With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelby Jean Smith (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on April 1, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Coe and Mary Coe; and her brothers, Marvin Coe (Barbara) and Calvin Coe (Dorothy). She is survived by: her husband Harold Dean Smith; her son Harold Gwyn Smith; her sister Margaret Callahan of Thomasville; and her sibling's children, Dean Coe (June) of Winston Salem, Patricia Jones (Mike) of Winston Salem, Brad Coe (Peggy) of Winston Salem, Brian Coe (Lori) of Winston Salem, Donna Fore (Ken) of Winston Salem and Beverly Clark of Tennessee. She is also survived by friends of her son that thought of her as a second Mom.
