He is survived by: his wife Cora Wright Horne; his children, Shelton Horne Jr. of High Point, NC, Linda Kay Diggs of High Point, NC and Phyllis Chandler (Johnny) of High Point, NC; his siblings, Isadora Whitley (Thomas) and Lamont Horne; and his niece Delores Miller of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren.
