He is survived by: his children, Anthony Cardwell (Sheila) of Lexington and Linda Staton of High Point; his grandchildren, Melissa Cardwell and David Staton; and his great grandchildren, Lindzie Grove (Matthew), Loki Wise and Xander Cardwell.
