He is survived by: his mother Margaret Cotton Nelson of High Point, NC; his children, Essience Nelson of Thomasville, NC, Jamod'e Martin (Zieaira) of Thomasville, NC and Tiya Davis of Thomasville, NC; his grandchildren, Journee Martin, Oassiah Davis and Ashton Martin; his siblings, Angela Nelson-Banks of High Point, NC, Kimberly Nelson of Thomasville, NC, William Nelson, Uriah Nelson, O. B. Nelson and Isaiah Nelson of Durham, NC; and his fiancé Keisha Roberts of Winston Salem, NC.
