She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harvard Birdsong and Mary Taylor Withers Birdsong; her daughters, Lucy, Ella of Corte Madera, California and Mary Barber; her grandsons, Jackson, William and John of Asheville; her sister Muff Nolde of Richmond; and her significant other Johnny. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in her memory to the Resident Care Fund at Pennybyrn, 109 Penny Road, High Point, North Carolina, 27260.
