He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Miersch and Wilhelmina Trommetter Miersch. He is survived by: his wife Anna C. Amback; and his children, Patience Miersch of Lexington, John Thomas Miersch (Melody) of Denton, Adam Anthony Miersch (Amanda), Christopher Thomas Miersch of Denver and Michael Thomas Miersch of Lexington. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
