He was predeceased by: his mother Georgina West McDaniel. He is survived by: his father Retired Burl J. McDaniel; his sister Georgina "Gina" McDaniel Whiteman (Ed); and his nephews, John Whiteman and Matthew Whiteman.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service - High Point (1015 Eastchester Dr, High Point, NC 27262).
