It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Versie Ann Freeman (High Point, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ross William Miller, Sr. and Johnnie Mae Miller Brand; her daughter Sepia Freeman; her stepfather Willie Brand; and her brothers, Ross William Miller (Myra), John Miller and Charles Miller.

She is survived by : her sisters, Johnnie Mae McAllister, Barbara Battles (Otis, Sr.) and Shirley Lindsay (James); and her grandchildren, Devine, Eugene and Bijah. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 1329 Kimery Dr, High Point, NC 27260. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
