She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jefferson Womack and Nellie Marie Friend Hoover; her former husband James William Coalson; her husband Billy Grove Barnes; her son James Coalson, Jr.; and her sisters, Rose Martin and Kyleen Blalock.
She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Coble of Archdale and Crystal Coalson Routh (David) of Archdale; her siblings, Linda Lackey and Bruce Womack (Belinda); and her grandchildren, Garrick Coalson, Michael Coalson, Kenneth Coalson, Travis Routh, Daniel Coble, Eric Coalson, Aliyah Brown, Joshua Barnes and Kaleb Coble. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Floral Garden Park Mausoleum Chapel (1730 W English Rd, High Point, NC 27262).
