She was predeceased by: her parents, Heyward Canady and Virginia Caddin Canady; her son Benjamin Ralph Abercrombie Jr.; her husband Harry Etheridge; and her sister Lois Ann Sims.
She is survived by: her daughter Frances Ann Fakkas; her son-in-law Andrew Fakkas of High Point, NC.; and her siblings, Henry Benjamin Canady of North Charleston, Heyward Allan Canady of Adams Run, John Daniel Canady of North Charleston and Betty Jean Fender of Adams Run, SC.. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 11:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel (3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, Charleston, SC 29414).
