He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Bowman and Delma Goins Bowman. He is survived by: his wife Cellie Bowman; his sons, Ken Bowman (Susan) of Welcome and Troy Bowman (Annette) of Archdale; his siblings, Glen Bowman (Loraine) of Ararat, Virginia, Richard Bowman (Barbara) and Ann Meines of Mt. Airy; and his grandchildren, Chris Bowman, Jessica Percival (Justin), Morgan Tkaczuk and Kaylen Ratcliffe. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
