He was predeceased by: his parents, Rubie Ann Wade Rook and Modie Rook; and his daughter Tina May Rook. He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Rook; his son Bill Rook, Jr. (Gloria); his stepson James Allen Holt; and his siblings, Modie Rook, Jerry Hubert, Diane Safewright, Carolyn Safewright, Pat Hubert, Ruby Hubert and Faye Hubert.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Jc Green & Sons Funeral Home (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery (401 W Holly Hill Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to one of Williams favorite organizations, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
