He was predeceased by: his parents, Winston Harvey Stephens, Sr. and Adele Zimmerman Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Melzer Stephens; his children, Luke Stephens of Thomasville, Sarah McMurray (David) of Jamestown, Leah Stephens (Asher) of Asheville and Rebekah Stephens of Charlotte; his brother Mark Stephens (Susan) of Texas; and his grandchildren, Trent Stephens, Asa Hays, Haven McMurray and Corinne McMurray.
