She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Bennett Barnes, Jr. and Roberta Talley Barnes. She is survived by: her sisters, Decora Jakobi (Scott), Deborah Drinka (Austin Brandt) and Doris Barnes. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cedar Cliff Baptist Church.
