With sadness, we share the passing of Joy Stockton Still of Highlands, North Carolina. Joy, born on October 29, 1934, passed away on September 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Joy for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hal Stockton and Rosamund Hughes Stockton; her husband Roy M. Still; and her sisters, Joan Scudder and Betty Kizer.
She is survived by: her daughter Meridith Watson (Terry); her grandchildren, Heather Felder (Michael) and Andrew Watson; and her great grandchildren, Grady Felder and Greer Felder. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Highlands United Methodist Church (315 Main St, Highlands, NC 28741).
