It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Keener of Highlands, North Carolina, who passed away on May 12, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Quincy Hedden and Emma Stewart Hedden; her husband James Howard Keener (Jamie); and her siblings, Barbara Ledford, June Hedden, Hester Keener, Shelba McFarland, Hope Calloway and Dwight Hedden.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Keener Manning (Mike), Tim Keener (Donna), Michael Keener (Stephanie) and Melanie Keener Miller (Buddy); her grandchildren, Christine Manning Bailey (Chris), Kelsey Manning Poell (Garrett), Michaela Manning (Max Garrett), Benjamin, Jonathan Miller, Christian, Caleb and Carson Keener; and her sisters, Helen Justice of Hendersonville, NC and Alice Lee of Knoxville, TN. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
