She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Lee Yount and Mabelle Reid Yount; her husband Charles H. Buchanan; and her brothers, Boyd Yount, Dale Yount and Roger Yount.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Buchanan Ewing (Mark) of Claremont and Charles "Chuck" Buchanan, Jr. (Wendy) of Meadows; and her grandchildren, Kaityln Ewing, Andrew Ewing, Collen Buchanan and Molly Buchanan.
