She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Throneburg and Ferbie Teague Throneburg; and her husband Clarence Towery. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Towery (Catherine) and Gary Towery (Amy); her grandchildren, Jordan Towery, Brian Kalwite, Metodie Jorgancierski and Anthony Jorgancieski; her great grandchild Avery Kalwite; and her close friends, Jeff Robbins, Chas Shea and Jen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Catawba Funeral Home (3060 US Hwy 70 SE, Hickory, NC 28602). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catawba County Humane Society.
