He was predeceased by: his parents, Murl Ray Smart Sr. and Betty Jo Bridges Smart; and his siblings, Linda Green and Troy Smart. He is survived by: his wife Janie B. Smart; his children, Corey J. Smart and Ashley Kaczynski; his grandchildren, Jazmine Story and Noah Kaczynski; and his siblings, Murl "Ray" Smart Jr. (Betty) and Nancy Caudill (Quinten Murph). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
