She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Louis Waddell. She is survived by: her nieces, Catherine Lucas (Owen), Antoinette Long and Monica Ellis (Derek); and her stepdaughter Sabrina Carrington (Bryant).
Viewing was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:55 AM at the Lipscomb Grove Missionary Baptist Church (800 Lipscomb Grove Church Rd, Hillsborough, NC 27278). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
