He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Marvin Ray and Aileen Blanche Pendleton Ray. He is survived by: his wife Donna Anderson Ray; his sons, Mark Ray (Jennifer Hsu) and Scott Ray (Leslie); his grandchildren, Travis Ray, Aidan Ray, Natalie Morgan Ray and Connor Ray; and his sister-in-law Jo Anne Byerly (Ron).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Clements Funeral Chapel (148 N Churton St, Hillsborough, NC 27278).
