In the vast expanse of eternity, Jean shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jean farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leo E. Lucas; and her son Scot R. Lucas. She is survived by: her children, Michael Lucas, Lee Rose (Bill Rose), Nicol Lucas and Lisa Thompson. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Clements Funeral Home (148 N Churton St, Hillsborough, NC 27278).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Jean's memory.
