We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2023, Nellie Merole Tunstall of Hillsborough, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edgar Miller Hines and Sarah Borland Hines; and her husband James Alton Tunstall. She is survived by : her stepmother Hazel B. Hines; her siblings, Edgar J Hines, Harold M Hines, Charles David Hines, Mary Catherine Roberson, Shirley Brown, Sarah Jane Norton and Irene Laube (Elzie); her sister-in-law Norkie Hines; her children, James "Jimmy" Edward Tunstall (Mary), Betty Marie Cates (Larry) and Janice Tunstall Lusk; her grandchildren, Sandy Laney (Stewart), Kile Lusk, Kasey Lusk and Katlin Lusk; and her great grandchild Cates.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mars Hill Baptish Church.
